Ambleside Park is one of the premiere parks around Vancouver. It's location offers awesome views of The Burrard Inlet, Stanley Park, Downtown Vancouver and the North Shore Mountains. It has all the features you would expect in a large park. Including sports fields and courts and a seaside walk. There is also a concession and plenty of parking. Most important, there is an off-leash dog park.
The off-leash dog park is located at the eastside of Ambleside Park. It includes a section of seawall, a beach area for swimming and a grass field.
The main entrance to Ambleside Park is from 13th Street leading to Argyle Avenue, but there is another entrance behind Park Royal Mall (from Taylor Way) which takes you down a path to the eastside of the park. FYI - there is limited street parking.
