This park has a large, fully fenced, off-leash dog park but the parking is not ideal. There is room for 2 short vehicles immediately in front of the gate and there is room for about 4 to 6 to parallel park on the shoulder of 4th Avenue (which slopes down toward the ditch). Traffic can be a little aggressive on 4th Avenue so be careful.
There are two off leash dog parks at the park. One is a year round park which is divided into two large open spaces for dogs to play and run. The second off leash area is seasonal and not as well maintained as the year round park. There is also limited parking at the seasonal dog park.
Campbell Valley Regional Park is very large and has many features including many kilometers of hiking trails and horse trails (unfortunately they are not off-leash). Be prepared to encounter horses while walking on your trail and be sure to keep your dog under control.
