The Chilliwack Community Forest is a mixed-use trail network in the east side of Chilliwack. The City of Chilliwack's website states that The City, "in partnership with the Chilliwack Parks Society and the Fraser Valley Mountain Bike Association, has opened access to 100 acres of City-owned forest property." The trails are in great shape and they're well signed at every intersection.

Is the Chilliwack Community Forest dog-friendly?

Yes, dogs are welcome off-leash but you have to be mindful of the mountain bikes on the trails and be able to keep your dogs safely out of the way to let the bikes pass.

How do you get to the Chilliwack Community Forest trails?

The Chilliwack Community Forest parking lot is a 5 minute drive southeast of the Annis Road exit from Highway One. Take Hack Brown Road east, then turn right on Nixon Road, and then left/straight on Allan Road. Then head up the gravel road to the right of the new housing development and turn right into the park 700 meters later. As you approach the parking lot, you will notice the gravel road is very wide and there is plenty of room to parallel park on both sides of the road. The parking lot itself has capacity for about 25 vehicles.
