Park Governance: City, Municipal, Township, etc.

High Canada Place Off-Leash Dog Park is a trailhead into a trail network through the hills between Blackloam and Juniper Ridge. The City of Kamloops officially lists the address to this park as 2090 High Forest Place but we found an overgrown area at the end of the road and with no discernible trail.

We found a better access to the area and a small gravel parking lot at the end of High Canada Place. There is a well worn trail around the fence and gate and there are no private property or no trespassing signs. After passing through the tall grass you'll find a bulldozed continuation of High Canada Place leading down the hill to Juniper Ridge.

If you hook right up the hill, you should be able to connect to the area the City identified at the end of High Forest Place.
