The Oak Meadows off-leash dog park is a fairly large grassy area on the west side of the park. There is no fencing or any other dog features but there is a lovely seating area provided by local visitors and a walking path which runs the perimeter of the park.
What Features Does The Park Have?
At the entrance to the park there is a large insect hotel made out of a converted phone booth. The insect hotel is designed to attract bee's, butterflies and other creatures.
The park also has a variety of other features:
- jogging trails
- perimeter walking path
- soccer field
- ultimate frisbee fields
- field hockey
Is There Parking Available?
The best place to access the dog meadow is from 37th street near Oak. There is no parking lot so you will have to look for street parking.
