Are Dogs Allowed At Pioneer Park in Kamloops?

Yes! Pioneer Off-Leash Dog Park features a beautiful sandy beach on the South Thompson River. It is next to Red Bridge (Mount Paul Way). The beach is a designated off-leash area and there is a grassy area leading up to the beach is on-leash only.

The sandy area of the beach is quite long with plenty of room for dogs to play.  When we visited the beach the views of the bridge with the sun coming through the clouds behind it were beautiful. It was definitely one of our favourite destinations.

While we were visiting the water was moving slowly and Avy ran out about 20 feet before she had to start swimming.
