Ellison Provincial Park near Vernon, BC features an off-leash dog beach which can be accessed via a trail located between sites 11 and 12 in the campsite area. It is a nice place to take your dog for a swim, but if you are not camping at the park you will need to park in the visitors area and walk approximately 5-10 minutes to access the beach trail. Once on the trail it is another 5 minute walk down to the beach area.
The beach area itself is a small cove which is perfect for swimming - for both you and your dog! A nice spot to enjoy an afternoon.
