Serpentine Off-leash Dog Park has a fully-fenced enclosure with a double-gated entry. It features a walking path around the perimeter, open grassy areas, running water, a small shelter, a washroom and a big parking lot.
It's on 76th Avenue, just north of the Newton Athletic park and Action BMX track.
If you'd like to go for a longer walk you can leash-up your dog and explore the path through the Serpentine Greenway.
