Ski Callaghan Park and Whistler Olympic Park are two parts of a nordic ski and snowshoe park that operate as one. To access the dog-friendly ski and snowshoe trails, park at the Ski Callaghan parking lot. You can access this by turning off the road just before the gate to the Whistler Olympic Park.
The Ski Callaghan Park has a large number of dog-friendly snowshoe trails. Many of the dog-friendly trails are off-leash and a few require that your dog be leashed. Be sure to mind the signs as you are snowshoeing and be sure to stay off the trails where dogs are not allowed.
The area is absolutely beautiful and the trails are well maintained. When we visited Avy enjoyed running on the snow covered trails and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The parking area has a warming hut with tables and chairs where you can sit and warm up, a snack bar, small shop and information desk where you can purchase your trail pass. When we visited trail passes were $16.00.
