The Doveside Christmas tree farm is happy to welcome your dog to join your family on the ultimate Christmas tree choosing experience. This year, due to limited stock due to 2 summers of drought, hours will be limited.
Come to the farm Wednesday November 16 to Sunday November 20, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, to tag your perfect tree.
Tree cutting will take place from Wednesday December 7 to Sunday December 11, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The tree farm offers wagon rides, carol singing and a cozy bonfire on the weekends. Bring your singing voice and come along for some holiday fun!
Hot chocolate is available by donation and each year the farm picks a local charity to support. You are also welcome to bring along your own picnic or s’more makings to enjoy.
The farm will provide saw for cutting and twine to secure your tree to your vehicle. You should come prepared to load your tree onto or into your own vehicle. A sheet, blanket or tarp is useful for this activity! Keep in mind that you will be out in the elements while cutting down your tree, so come dressed for the weather. Gloves are also recommended.
The farm offers Grand fir and Douglas fir trees with a limited supply of White Pine and Spruce Trees.
Tree prices are $60.00 for a 6′ – 7′ tree, $80.00 for a 8′- 9′ tree and $100.00 for trees that are 10′ and taller. Trees under 6′ are not available for cutting.
The farm does not accept credit or debit cards – please come prepared with cash, cheque or e-transfer.
