Lights by the lake dog-friendly christmas light display

Harrison Hot Springs is bringing back “Lights by the Lake.”  The Village lights up their quaint lakeside in true Holiday fashion. As you stroll along Harrison’s promenade you will experience the warm glow of Christmas lights and charming winter window paintings.

Each business on the route has decorated their store front with Holiday cheer. There are also Christmas trees and old fashioned lamps in the village square.

Lights by the Lake Event Details:

Dogs are welcome to join you as you stroll through the Village light display, but they must be kept on-leash. The event can be busy so ensure you keep your dog close (on a short leash). There are complimentary poop bag stations located throughout (but it is always a good idea to bring your own), and there are plenty of garbage bins.

The route is 2 km long and will feature live entertainment and food trucks for your enjoyment!

Hours:

The event will run daily from November 19, 2022 until January 8, 2023, from dusk till 11 pm.

Where to start your route:

Start your walk at St. Alice Street and go to the Starlight Skating Rink- Public Boat Launch Area. Directional signage will encourage visitors to maintain the flow of traffic by going West to East along the paved promenade in front of the displays and looping back, East to West on the gravel path behind the displays.

Parking at the Event:

Parking in the Village of Harrison during the fall, winter and spring seasons is free (Mid-September – Mid-May).  Larger vehicles and RV’s can use the overflow parking area on the corner of Hot Springs Road and Miami River Drive, only 340 meters from the Plaza.

Please check the following link for access to Electric Vehicle Charging Stations.
