I’ve mentioned Avy’s friend Luca in posts before…he’s one of her best dog friends – when they get together they play HARD and tire each other out. Luca moved to Squamish a few weeks ago so Avy and I decided to head up for a visit and check out some of the hikes in the area.
When we got to Squamish we let Avy and Luca have a play in the backyard first – which is when Avy discovered her first trampoline (check out the pic below!) Unfortunately for Avy she discovered the hard way that the mesh around the trampoline was attached and that was not a suitable way to try and exit…boy do I wish I had THAT on video!!
After a yard play Jen, Luca, Avy and I headed out to the Smoke Bluffs for a hike. If you’re a rock climber you’ll be familiar with the Bluffs. Beautiful hiking trails and at every turn you come across climbers working their way up one of the hundreds of routes that the area is famous for. Add to that beautiful views from various points in the park and it’s a tough spot to beat.
We’ll definitely be going back to Squamish again soon to explore other hikes and parks that the area has to offer. One of the beautiful things about Vancouver is that you’ll never run out of mountains and trails to explore. Can’t wait for our next adventure!
