Quarry Park is a large, dog-friendly park with off-leash hiking trails on Bowen Island, BC. According to the Bowen Island Municipality website, dogs are permitted off-leash in all municipal parks. The trails wind through the forest, around a small lake, past a winter waterfall to the stone garden.
The Bowen Island Conservancy website has an excellent write-up and description of the area if you are looking to do some additional research before you visit the park. There are a variety of features in the park such as the stone circle and moss garden.
Directions to Quarry (off-leash) Park:
To access the park drive up Cowan Point Road and look for the sign on the right hand side. When you see it you, park your car and enter the park via the gate. You will walk down the path and over a stone bridge to find yourself in a large clearing. That is where you will find the stone circle. From there you can carry on to explore all that the park has to offer.
