Mount Gardner is a large crown land area located on Bowen Island, BC. There are a large number of trails on the mountain, all of which are dog-friendly. The Bowen Island Municipal website indicates that areas in green on their map are off-leash dog-friendly, and Mount Gardner is included in this colour code.
The hikes on the mountain are rated “intermediate” by Vancouver Trails. There is a fair bit of elevation and comments from other hikers who have explored the mountain indicate that signage at some of the trails heads could be better. That said, the hike does get an overall rating of 3.95/5 stars.
There are no bathrooms or pit toilets along the trails of the mountain, but you can find some at nearby Killarney Lake.
