The South Cowichan Community Off-Leash Dog Park features a large fenced enclosure with a double gated entry. It’s located on the corner of Cobble Hill Road and Hutchinson Road, next to Quarry Nature Park.
The enclosure features a shelter for the humans to huddle under in the rain, benches, lighting and a doggy water fountain. The terrain is a combination of grass, gravel and bark mulch.

The park has an issue a few aggressive dogs that are spoiling the experience for a lot of dog owners. For example, there is a pit bull mix who’s owner, an older gentleman, simply can’t control him.
