Mundy Park off-leash dog park has a large fenced enclosure, a smaller fenced enclosure for small dogs and off-leash trails. It is located on Mariner Drive between Como Lake Avenue and Austin Avenue. It’s on the southern slope and has beautiful views of the Fraser River and the Port Mann Bridge.
In Mundy Park there are six different types of areas with respect to dogs :
- Off-Leash permitted Dawn-to-Dusk (the trails marked in yellow on the map)
- Off-Leash permitted Dawn to 10 am (the Perimeter (blue on the map) and Nature (brown on the map) trails)
- On-Leash at all times (Paved Community Trail around the outside of the park, in orange on the map)
- No Dogs at all (nature interpretive trails (in red on the map) around Mundy Lake)
- No Dogs or People (the forests outside the marked trails shown on the map)
- and lastly, the playing fields and grass areas along the western edge, where dogs must be on-leash. Dogs aren’t allowed off-leash on the fields,
The park is very popular and you will find lots of other dogs to visit and play with.
Parking at Mundy Park
There is a small parking lot at Mundy Park. As the park is very popular the parking lot is often busy and full.
