Located within Aberdeen Neighbourhood Park is a small, fully-fenced dog park. The dog park has a double gate entry for dog safety. If you need to dispose of dog poop there are also garbage bins at each entry/exit.
The dog park is a long pie shape. At the large end of the park the ground is covered in gravel. As an added feature there are some well placed rocks that smaller dogs seem to enjoy standing on. As the park narrows there is a grassy section.
When we visited the park it appeared to be well used with several dog owners and dogs in the enclosure. Both large and small dogs were making use of the park.

What features does the park have?
In addition to the dog park enclosure the park has a number of other amenities. Included is a basketball court, picnic tables, benches and green space.
Aberdeen park is one of the newest parks in the City of Richmond. It is located in a densely populated area. As a result it is more suited for dogs living or visiting the neighborhood. It would not be considered a “destination dog park.”
