The off-leash dog park at Balaclava Park has an unfenced grassy field located between the softball diamond and running oval. If your dog is inclined to chase, or may want to join in a game of softball, you may want to consider going to a different park.
Aside from that, it is a beautiful neighbourhood park with lots to do for the whole family. It has a running oval, soccer field, softball diamond, playground and a field house with bathrooms.
