Locarno Park combines several greenspaces from the beach back to West 1st Avenue. The off-leash dog park is an unfenced grass field on the south side of Belmont Avenue.
You’ll find a playground at the west end of the field and a ball diamond next to it. Walk one block north, you will find washrooms at the beachfront concession.
Spanish Banks Off-Leash Dog Park is 2 kilometers west on NW Marine Drive, Pacific Spirit Park (off-leash) starts just up the hill from there, and Jericho Beach (on-leash) is about 3/4 of a kilometer to the east.
