Bring the whole family for a walk through the trees until you find your perfect Christmas Tree. Saws will be provided if you want to cut down your own tree. If being a woodsman isn&#8217;t your thing, the farm staff will be happy to cut it down for you!<\/p>\n<h2>Tree Varieties:<\/h2>\n<p>The farm offers several varieties of trees, so you can pick your favourite.\u00a0 The following tree species are available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Douglas Fir<\/li>\n<li>Noble Fir<\/li>\n<li>Grand Fir<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Tree Farm Hours:<\/h2>\n<p>The farm will be open every day until dusk until December 24th (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100064383681436\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">their Facebook page<\/a> says they&#8217;re always open).<\/p>\n<h2>Community Involvement:<\/h2>\n<p>$5.00 from every tree purchased will be donated to local elementary schools Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) programs.<\/p>\n<h2>Caring for your Christmas Tree:<\/h2>\n<p>Once you find the perfect Christmas Tree, you will want to make sure it stays healthy through the holiday season. <a href=\"https:\/\/pickyourownchristmastree.org\/caring4atree.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here<\/a> for an article that provides tips for picking the right tree, transporting it home and caring for it once you get there.<\/p>\n<h2>Directions to the Farm:<\/h2>\n<p>The farm is located off Riverbottom Road. Travel West on Cowichan Lake Road, past the Sahtlam Fire Hall. Turn left onto Riverbottom Road and an immediate left onto Webdon Road. The farm is on the right hand side of the road a few hundred yards down.
