The Christmas Ranch Tree Farm is a dog-friendly farm! Bring along your entire family to find the prefect tree and create a memorable holiday experience.<\/p>\n
The Ranch offers both pre-cut trees and you cut trees. If you choose to cut your own tree you can come out anytime to pick out your tree, pay for it and mark it sold. Once tagged you can come back anytime before Christmas to cut it down.<\/p>\n
The farm has a large selection of Douglas Fir, Concolor Fir and Fraser Fir available.<\/p>\n
The farm will provide you with a saw to cut down your Christmas tree.\u00a0 You can also borrow a sleigh to pull the kids if needed. Make sure you come dressed for the weather – picking the perfect tree is an outdoor activity! Boots and gloves are recommended. If cutting down your own tree isn’t your thing, Ranch staff will be happy to do it for you.<\/p>\n
Once you have picked out your tree you can take it back to the “tree shaker”. The shaker will shake the snow off your tree as well as any dead needles.<\/p>\n
While you are at the ranch, take some time to look through the gift shop, check out their fresh swags and take a picture on Santa’s sleigh! You can also enjoy a free hot chocolate inside Santa’s heated workshop. Note: some areas may not be dog-friendly.<\/p>\n
The farm is located between Lumby and Vernon in the Okanagan Valley.<\/p>\n
Take highway 6 from Vernon, toward Lumby. Turn down Dure Meadow Road after Tolko Mill. From there you can follow the signs with red bows to the Christmas Ranch Tree Farm.<\/p>\n
The farm will be open daily starting on November 15th and until December 24th. You can pay using cash, Visa, Mastercard, cheque, debit and tap debit.<\/p>\n
