Ketcheson neighbourhood park is located in Capstan Village in Richmond, BC. The park has many features including a small dog park for residents to use.
The dog park itself is very tiny and only suitable for small dogs or one or two medium to large dogs at a time. It would be suitable for residents of the nearby residences to use the park, but not a destination for others outside the area.
Although the dog park is very small, it is well built with a double gated entry for dog safety. It also has a garbage can nearby and poop bags if you forget to bring your own.
Other features of the neighbourhood park include a children’s playground, exercise equipment for adults and water features. There are several green spaces throughout the park where visitors can relax or have a picnic.
The day we visited the park there was already a person using the area so we opted to do an on-leash walk around the park instead. The park is lovely and was nice to visit, but unless you have a reason to be there it is not an area you would go out of your way to stop at.
