Sunset Beach is a small off-leash dog beach located next to the Aquatic Center in the West End of Vancouver. While the beach is not large, it is big enough for dogs to run and play and there is plenty of room to swim.
Rainbow Park Off-Leash Park features an unfenced grassy area and a beach for your dog to swim in the lake. The off-leash area is at Barking Bay.
Dogwood Off-Leash Park is an enormous space with plenty of open space to run and play, a pond, small dog area and trails. It is also fully fenced.
Cedar Creek is a beautiful off-leash beach and park area. To access the beach you can either park in the large parking lot at 5200 Lakeshore Road, or you can drive a little further and park in the boat launch parking lot which is closer to the water.
The Rock Chute Bare and Grill is a large, dog friendly outdoor patio on Mt. Seymour in North Vancouver, BC. Perfect for après-hike drinks and a bite to eat.
Nanaimo River Regional Park is a 2km dog-friendly trail with access to the beautiful Nanaimo river. Dogs are allowed off-leash.

Chilliwack and Cultus Lake have 7 officially designated off-leash dog parks or hikes; 4 with fully fenced and gated enclosures, 2 with a separate enclosure for small dogs and 2 with off-leash hiking trails. 1 with a beach or swimming area.
Coquitlam has 6 off-leash dog parks, 4 with fully fenced and gated enclosures, 3 with a separate enclosure for small dogs and 2 with off-leash hiking trails. Check out our pictures, descriptions and maps to find the right park for you.
Kamloops has 24 officially designated off-leash dog parks or hikes; 5 with fully fenced and gated enclosures, 2 with a separate enclosure for small dogs, 13 with off-leash hiking trails, and 4 with a beach or swimming area.
The Okanagan’s Kelowna, West Kelowna and Lake Country have 16 officially designated off-leash dog parks or hikes: 12 with fully fenced and gated enclosures, 5 with a separate enclosure for small dogs, 1 with off-leash hiking trails and 5 with a beach or swimming area.
Nanaimo has 12 off-leash dog parks: 3 with fully fenced and gated enclosures, 1 with a separate enclosure for small dogs, 3 with off-leash hiking trails, 5 with a beach or swimming area and 4 with unfenced or open areas.
