Gallatly Off-Leash Dog Beach is a beautiful sandy beach on the west side of Okanagan Lake. The beach is fully-fenced and gated and has several picnic tables. There is a parking lot at the Rotary Park which is east of the dog beach.
An off-leash beach for dogs to swim located within the Ellison Provincial Park Campground. Visitors can park in the visitors parking lot and walk approximately 20 minutes to access the beach.
With the exception of the beach and picnic areas, which are clearly marked, dogs are welcome off-leash at Beaver Lake Regional Park. The park has long easy trails where you can take a stroll with your dog and several areas where your dog can cool down with a swim in the lake.
Lynn Headwaters Regional Park, in North Vancouver, BC, has several leash-optional trails that you can explore with your dog.
The dog park at McDonald Beach Park features a long stretch of sandy beach on the Fraser River, a large grass field and some trails through the woods.
Pioneer Off-Leash Dog Park features a beautiful sandy beach on the South Thompson River. Dogs can play off leash on the sand and in the water.
