Big Elf Run Dog-Friendly Running Event

The Big Elf Run is a dog-friendly running event in Vancouver, BC. Deck yourself out as your favourite elf, bring along your four-legged training partner and prepare for a lot of fun!

Event Details:

The holiday themed run offers a 5km/10km/15km Big Elf Run/Walk as well as a 1km Wee Elf Run/Walk around scenic Stanley Park.
Run with hundreds of elves, enjoy a DJ, “elfie station”, prize giveaways, vendors and more.

The 5km/10km/15km Big Elf Run and Walk starts at 2:00 pm while the 1km Wee Elf Run/Walk begins at 1:00 pm.

The Big Elf Run tours Vancouver’s beautiful Stanley Park. Starting at Lumberman’s Arch. The course winds its way along trails surrounded by old oak trees before looping onto the seawall with stunning views of Coal Harbour and the Burrard Inlet. With few inclines and mainly paved paths, everyone should experience a beautiful and stress-free run or walk. The route is for all ages and abilities.

Dog-Friendly Event:

The Big Elf Run is one of Vancouver’s only dog-friendly running events. Your dog is welcome to join you on the run as long as they are on-leash. Runners with dogs will start in the last heat so that they do not interfere with other runners in the event.

Running Swag:

Every runner loves a bit of swag! The Elf Run will not disappoint.  Your race registration will include:

  • Elf Name Bib (Customize by Nov 13th 11:59pm)
  • Elf Toque
  • Chip Timing (5km/10km/15km only)
  • Finishers Souvenir

The event will proceed rain or shine so make sure that you dress for the weather!  There will also be a bag drop on site, but bags will be left at owners risk.
