The Santa Shuffle is a 5km dog-friendly running event. In addition to the 5k run/walk event, there is also a 1km Elf Walk for all ages. This event is open to all skill levels so whether you are a seasoned runner or a beginner, come out for some fun!
The Santa Shuffle is one of the few dog-friendly organized races you can find. Many of us train with our furry friends so having them join us on an organized run is a lot of fun. To keep things safe for everyone (including your dog) make sure that you keep them on a fixed leash and ensure that they do not get in the way of other runners. Other than that – deck yourselves out in your Christmas running finest and go have fun!
The Santa Shuffle is a fundraising event for the Salvation Army, which is put on in conjunction with the Running Room. Runners can register as individuals or teams and are encouraged to raise funds as part of the fun.
The Santa Shuffle is not a timed race, it’s a fun race with a clock! At the end all participants will receive a finishers medal. Participants will also get a t-shirt as part of their registration package (sizes based on availability). Packages can be picked up at your local running room store or Salvation Army location. You can also pick up your race kit on race day.
When you register you will receive information on the race start time and starting location.
