This is not the first story like this that I’ve read…hot dogs or other meat items stuffed with razor blades, pills or other damaging items found in parks, off-leash areas and now in a dog owners front yard. Every time I read one of the stories I feel a little sick to my stomach. Not everyone is a dog person, I get it, but to purposefully take action to harm a dog takes a very sick individual.
It does stand as a warning to dog owners everywhere though. Be vigilant, check your surroundings, especially when your dog is off leash, and work on your “leave it!” command! Because it doesn’t sound like this issue is going to disappear any time soon.
